Content Services & Content Marketing Stage

  • The DCX exhibition on 8 and 9 October 2019 will once again present the Content Services & Marketing Stage with trends, tools and handling options for corporate publishing
  • Key speakers will include The Drum columnist, Samuel Scott, information management pioneer Dr. Ulrich Kampffmeyer, and Haeme Ulrich, Publishblog.ch operator

A main topic of the DCX Digital Content Expo in Berlin is how companies can best produce, distribute and monetise their corporate content. The focus will be on new technologies and tools as well as the suitable strategy for using the corporate content to achieve maximum added value for the organisation.

The aspects covered range from content marketing up to information management. The represented service providers serve more and more content experts from companies. Exhibitors will present their offerings and services on the Content Services & Content Marketing Stage. In addition, they will show visitors best-in-class user examples as well as efficient solutions. Independent lecturers will contribute controversial topics and discussions. These will include representatives of the cooperation partners “Content Marketing Forum”, “Fachverband Medienproduktion”, “CMO Asia” (Association of Asian Marketing Professionals) as well as the keynote speakers.

The future of Content Marketing

One of the key speakers will be Samuel Scott, former marketing director in the high-tech industry and author of “The Promotion Fix” column for “The Drum”. On Wednesday, 9 October 2019, at 10.00 h, he will describe the future prospects for content marketing. A US citizen living today in Tel Aviv, Samuel Scott is a “tech native” who is still proficient in the analogue area: He will explain how marketing and communication professionals integrate online and offline marketing.

The content management scene has many facets

Also on board is Dr. Ulrich Kampffmeyer, an information management pioneer and managing director of Project Consult in Hamburg, he will cover the spectrum from content management to content services. In his capacity as a consultant, president of national and international industry associations, author and lecturer with long-standing expertise in the area of document, content and information management, Dr. Ulrich Kampffmeyer will describe the many and varied facets of the content management industry on Tuesday, 8 October 2019. He will present latest market data and focus on the role of new technologies, such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, cloud and mobile. In addition, he will take a critical look at innovations and interactions.

Benefit from the digital transformation

A further highlight will be the contribution from Haeme Ulrich, a coach and marketing expert from Switzerland, who will describe the consequences for the visitors of the digital transformation. Founder of “Publishingblog.ch”, he has launched his own Academy and will present an extract from his learning programme. On Wednesday, 9 October 2019, at 12.30 h, he will demonstrate how to move from the classical industry to a knowledge-based operation in a digital culture, and how to achieve a successful business model in times of disruption.

Best of Content Marketing

Speakers here include Olaf Wolff, managing director and executive client partner of Publicis Pixelpark, who will illustrate the latest trends in content marketing. To do so, he will use the example of award-winning entries to the European “Best of Content Marketing” competition of the Content Marketing Forum. In his lecture, Holger Koenig, managing director and producer at Koenigsfilm, will give tips on how to better get across your customer's message in seven steps.
